Susie’s Adventures On The Magic Island
This is a book a book for teenagers but it can be enjoyed by people from any age. Susie is a young teenager who is not aware of the gift she possesses. The book is about her first exciting experience into another dimension and how she begins to become aware of her amazing gift to journey into other secret dimensions where the average person can not venture. The book is illustrated with colorful images through out the book.
Susie is frustrated with trying to write a report for her homework for school about a special tree but have no idea what such a tree is like. She then drift into another space where she finds herself in another dimension and meet some interesting people who help her to get the information she is looking for. She makes friends with animal she has never in her wildest dreams imagine she could and she can actually communicate with them and understands their language. This is altogether an enjoyable story that most people will enjoy reading. It will appeal to your imagination.
“Susie’s Adventures On The Magic Island” is written by Susan Valentine who has always enjoyed writing books for kids and young adults and over the years she has written many articles to different magazines. She is a very talented author and there is no doubt that she will write a series of Susie Books. So we can only hope that she will come out with “Susie’s Adventures number 2 soon.
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Susie’s Adventures On The Magic Island is a very enjoyable book that follows Susie on all the adventures she experience around on the Magic Island in search for some information. This book inspires your imagination and encourages children of all ages to read. It’s a book that will keep you entertained from the beginning to the end. A great story that I can highly recommend.
A different imaginative story.
Although the concept of imaginary friends and talking to animals is not new, this charming tale strikes a chord in the hearts of all dreamers and animal lovers, with its underlying message of believing in yourself.
The imaginative illustrations add a delightful dimension to this tale of fantasy and dreams.
With the promise of another ‘Susie’ story to come, satisfied readers will look forward to both the author’s and illustrator’s continuing creativity.
This is the sort of story that has children asking for “more”. They love it! “Can you read me Suzie’s Adventures again, Dad?” Brilliant story, and not just for young kids, but for older kids too (I loved it too).
Susie has to write a report for school about a Bogetree, but she doesn’t even know what one is. I had a lot of fun following Susie on her adventure trying to learn about this tree for her report. She meets a lot of interesting people and creatures along the way.
